Tambi\u00e9n es considerado uno de los eventos m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de completar. Esto se debe a sus largas distancias en tres distintos deportes. El triatl\u00f3n consiste en una carrera continua, sin escalas, que comienza con la nataci\u00f3n, seguida de la carrera en bicicleta y terminando con la carrera a pie. En el caso de ni\u00f1os de <strong>6 a 10 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, usualmente se <strong>nada 200 metros<\/strong> seguido de andar en <strong>bicicleta 4.8 kil\u00f3metros<\/strong>, para finalizar con <strong>correr 800 metros<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>&#8211; Este estilo de carrera evolucion\u00f3 al punto de convertirse en la serie conocida como XTERRA el d\u00eda de hoy. Cabe aclararlo ya que muchos entran a esta competencia para prepararse precisamente para el Ironman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Aqu\u00ed, cada participante deber\u00e1 <strong>nadar 1.5 kil\u00f3metros<\/strong>, seguido de andar en <strong>bicicleta por 40 kil\u00f3metros <\/strong>y <strong>correr 10 kil\u00f3metros<\/strong> a pie. El primer evento que se llev\u00f3 a cabo de esta modalidad fue en&nbsp;Waikiki, Haw\u00e1i el 18 de febrero de 1978. Este triatl\u00f3n se lleva a cabo empezando con <strong>300 metros de nataci\u00f3n<\/strong>, seguido de <strong>6.6 kil\u00f3metros en bicicleta<\/strong> y finalizando con una <strong>carrera de 1 kil\u00f3metro<\/strong> a pie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En cada equipo, <strong>el orden en el que deben de pasar de un compa\u00f1ero a otro debe ser de una mujer a un hombre<\/strong>.
